HOW PGL WORKS

Care led by educators.
Support you can understand.

After-school care with strong academic support, attentive adults and clear conversations about your child. A warm second home at 227 Lavender Street.

Family for You. After school, before home.

An educator guiding children through a shared learning activity at ProgressLab
Learning, encouragement and time together.

01 / PEOPLE YOU CAN GET TO KNOW

Start with the people
around your child.

Educators guide learning and conversations about support. Facilitators help with the daily routine. ProgressLab Operations Pte. Ltd. is the centre’s operator.

Programme partners contribute scheduled specialist expertise. Ask who will be present for your child’s cohort; profiles do not imply daily attendance.

Learning & care

The education team guides academic support and reviews what a child needs. Facilitators help children settle, organise their work and take part in daily routines under educational guidance.

Family communication

Use PGL WhatsApp 8098 0781 to arrange a visit or request a conversation with the education team. For an unresolved concern, email operations@progresslab.sg and request a review by the person responsible for centre operations.

Founder’s direction

Venie focuses on organisational direction, TAIP development and strategic partnerships. Educational judgments and reports remain the responsibility of educators.

Before enrolment, ask us to confirm the people supporting your child, your routine contact and the escalation route in writing.

02 / AN AFTERNOON WITH BALANCE

03 / WHEN SOMETHING FEELS DIFFICULT

Notice. Try. Review.
Keep the family involved.

A child who struggles to begin a task may need a different explanation, a smaller first step or time to reset. Educators choose the response and check whether it helps.

  1. Notice

Describe the task, context and difficulty without labelling the child.

  2. Support

Try an appropriate strategy, such as modelling the first step or breaking work into parts.

  3. Record the response

Note what the child did and how much help was still needed.

  4. Review & communicate

Revisit the task, adjust the support and discuss useful next steps with parents.

TAIP™ gives this observation-and-follow-through process a shared framework. It supports educational planning, not clinical assessment, diagnosis or guaranteed outcomes.

04 / WHAT YOU HEAR FROM US

More useful than
“homework done”.

A useful update explains what your child worked on, what was difficult, what helped and what needs another look.

Relevant observations may be brought together in a Learning and Behavioural Progress Report. Educators interpret the observations and remain responsible for the report.

Discuss the update format and review arrangements at enrolment. A concern can also be raised through PGL’s existing contact channels.

How do the pricing choices support everyday delivery?

The core programme shares a centre, afternoon routine and regular resources. Pickup is planned for designated routes. Separately priced services let families discuss additional support without assuming that every child needs it.

Monthly fees support ongoing operating costs. They do not amount to a guarantee of continuity. If you have a concern, request current written information about service-change notice, care arrangements and any applicable refund terms before enrolling. Family withdrawal terms should not be read as a centre-closure policy.

06 / PGL & TAIP

People lead.
TAIP supports the work.

PGL provides the care and educational support. TAIP™ is the educational framework used to organise observations, support strategies and review. Digital tools are being developed to help the team document and coordinate this work.

Venie leads that development and the organisational partnerships around it. Families receive support through their education team; a parent does not need to use a technology platform to understand their child’s afternoon.

TAIP Core supports the learner across Foundations (P1–P2), the P3–P4 transition and Readiness (P5–P6). These stages guide age-appropriate support rather than automatic assessments.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

A few useful questions.

Who should I contact about a learning concern?
Message PGL on 8098 0781 and request a discussion with the education team. For a concern that remains unresolved, email operations@progresslab.sg and ask for a centre-operations review. Your named routine contact and escalation arrangements should be confirmed before enrolment.
Does my child need private tuition to benefit?
No. Guided homework, spelling and 听写, and age-appropriate academic practice sit within daily care. Optional 1-to-1 support for enrolled children can be discussed when more focused help is needed; educator availability, scope and fees are confirmed separately.
Will I receive live updates or automated assessments?
We do not promise real-time reporting or automated assessments. Educators review learning observations and discuss support with families. TAIP’s digital capabilities are still being developed; ask about the communication arrangements available for your child.
What happens if my child needs support beyond the programme?
Discuss the need with the education team before enrolling or when a difficulty emerges. We will discuss what the programme can reasonably provide and whether a different arrangement is needed. PGL and TAIP do not provide clinical assessment or diagnosis.
