Practise the moments
that make a school day.
An educator-led K2 Readiness & Transition workshop that complements your existing transition activities through small-group, practical play.
Pack and Check
Use a picture list to choose belongings, pack a bag and check what is ready—practising organisation and independence.
Listen and Try
Respond to a short story, follow a simple instruction and share an idea through words, pointing or drawing.
My Canteen Turn
Choose, queue, order and pay with play tokens in a snack-stand role-play that builds everyday numeracy and communication.
Children also practise friendship, feelings and asking for help. They can speak, point, draw or watch before joining, with familiar support available.
Useful at school. Easy to continue at home.
- For your schoolAn agreed 90-minute session with resources, facilitators and a short teacher debrief. Group size and staffing are confirmed together, with your usual class educators present.
- For every childA Readiness Passport and optional two-week family practice pack, including school-day sequencing, simple money activities and a shared feelings journal.
A separate family invitation
With your school’s agreement, families can receive a voucher for one complimentary 90-minute PGL centre experience with a parent or caregiver. Advance booking is required; the voucher is valid for 60 days from issue, subject to session availability and voucher terms.
The school workshop has no enrolment presentation. The family visit carries no purchase or enrolment obligation.
TAIP™ helps educators notice what a child tries, what support helps and what to practise next. There is no readiness score or pass/fail result.

A joyful introduction for K2
Choose a specialist experience to complement your cohort’s interests. Programme partner availability, format, group size, date and duration are confirmed with each preschool.

HOW THE COLLABORATION WORKS

- Complimentary programmeNo programme fee is charged to the preschool for the agreed introductory session.
- School-led schedulingDate, time, cohort and venue arrangements follow the preschool’s operational needs.
- Clear role coordinationPGL coordinates the experience and identifies the responsible programme partner.
- Consent-respecting photographyPhotography or marketing use occurs only with the preschool’s prior approval and applicable consent.
WHY PGL IS REACHING OUT
Whether your priority is P1 transition or a specialist discovery experience, we work with your educators to complement what your school already does well. Share your cohort, timetable and priorities; we will agree the session scope, resources and roles before the visit.
This is also a gentle way for graduating families to learn that structured after-school care, daily academic support and a longer-term upper-primary learning pathway are available nearby as their children transition to Primary 1.
