Karen brings more than a decade of experience designing and delivering English enrichment programmes across public, private and nonprofit settings in Asia, supporting primary school children and adult learners alike.

Her ECDA certification reinforces her belief that effective learning begins with emotional safety, connection and joy. As the founder of Kallos Kids and creator of the Eager Readers literacy programme, she designs purposeful learning experiences that nurture literacy alongside character, curiosity and critical thinking.

As a PGL programme partner, Karen brings this perspective to purposeful literacy and enrichment experiences. Her work connects academic learning with the encouragement children need to participate and try.

Ms Joyce brings more than 15 years of experience across classroom teaching and personalised academic coaching. She taught English and Mathematics at The Learning Lab’s United Square centre and previously served as Head Teacher at Nanyang Education, building a strong foundation in structured teaching and educational leadership.

Through The Maths Café, she tailors one-to-one coaching to each learner’s needs. Her experience with both local and international students informs a responsive approach: identify what a child understands, work carefully through gaps and build the confidence to tackle the next challenge.

As a PGL academic programme partner, Ms Joyce brings a focus on understanding the learner and choosing a useful next step. Children benefit from clear explanations, careful practice and encouragement to work with growing independence.

Scott is registered with Singapore’s National Registry of Coaches and National Registry of Exercise Professionals, and is certified or recognised through ActiveSG, CoachSG, SportSG and MOE. He is CPR and AED trained. An active competitive player with about 20 years of tennis experience, he won the 2024 STA Men’s Doubles Chan Cup. He received the AATC Global Tennis Award 2025, serves as Head Coach for NUS Sheares Hall, and was Tournament Director for Sport Singapore’s SportCares Play Inclusive — Soundball 2024. His work has also been featured on Channel 5, Channel 8, Channel U and CNA.
